Arłamów - luxury in the Bieszczady Mountains

The initiators of the construction of the government center on the Arłamów mountain, in the early 1960s, were the then dignitaries of the People's Republic of Poland: Józef Cyrankiewicz and Piotr Jaroszewicz. The fence of this area was 120 km long, and the roads were closed by barriers and guarded by armed military patrols. During that time the center was used for hunts for leaders of other countries. In 1982, Arłamów was one of the places where members of the trade union Solidarity (SOLIDARNOŚĆ) were interned. One of them, Lech Wałęsa, was staying here too. After 1989, the center was liquidated and a public hotel was organized in this place. "Arłamów S.A. Hotel" was established in 2012. The expanded and modernized facility in Arłamów has many attractions, golf course, pools, playing fields, ski trails, ski lift. There are 213 rooms in the new 4 star - hotel and 41 rooms in the Residence. In both facilities there are a total of 20 apartments, including two presidential ones. A heliport and an airport for airplanes have been built for tourists and visitors.
