The nature reserve "Sine Wiry'

Nature reserve was established in 1987 and it covers 7 km part of the Wetlina and Solinka rivers. There are many plants and animals on the varied landscape sculpture. In September 1980 the slope of the mountain Połoma slid down and blocked the river Wetlina. In this way the Emerald (Szmaragdowe) Lake was built. Unfortunatelly, it disappeared long time ago. There are many rocky thresholds in Solinka river at the foot of Połoma  mountain and the deep rock shocks make that area be called "Sine Wiry" (whirlpools). Every year many tourists visit that beautiful place, so do the guests from Sosnowa Aleja.
