The Borderline Watchtower Chreptiów

The Borderline Watchtower Chreptiów and the restaurant are situated in the picturesque place on the hill over Lutowiska village. The most beautiful view of the Crown of the Bieszczady Mountains can be seen from here. In the neighbourhood there is the viewpoint to see The High Bieszczady - click here. The "Pan Woodyjowski" film production is said to start building of the Borderline Watchtower Chreptiów. Some wooden buildings imitating the watchtower of the First Polish Republic were built that time. Today, they don't exist any more. To commemorate the history of those events, the gastronomic-leisure complex called Chreptiów has been built in that place. It is in the center of the Bieszczady Mountains, 15 km from the Bieszczady National Park and it is the perfect base to walk and see the mountain pastures called Połoniny. There is also a restaurant in that complex where there is a big fireplace in the center of the main restaurant room. There are some portraits of the great Polish leaders of the sixteenth century who look at people sitting there.
Chreptiów was visited by our tourists. They had a good fun after eating tasty, traditional dishes and because the weather was very nice they feasted in the inner courtyard of the Watchtower Chreptiów.
