Rymanów Zdrój was created by a decision of the Rymanów city council on the 16th August 1966, on the 120th anniversary of discovery of mineral water there. Much earlier, in 1965 "ESKULAP" sanatorium for adults started work in the expanded building called "ŁAZIENKI MINERALNE" (the patients went there for mineral treatments). "ESKULAP" had got place for 120 people. In the southern part of the SPA there are two children's sanatoriums "POLONIA" and "ZIMOWIT" for 300 persons. In 1980 the new bottling of mineral and medicinal water "TYTUS", "KLAUDIA" and "CELESTYNKA" started its work. Now, Rymanów Zdrój SPA is considered one of the most beautiful children's health resorts.
