We recommend you one of the most interesting Bieszczady attraction, the glider flight. The idea to create such attraction belongs to Mr. Piotr Bobula. He is a pilot. He loves flying and he is a lover of the mountains. He made the glider flights be done over the Bieszczady Mountains again. He carried into effect:
- a new method of the glider start from the mountainside using only gravitation,
- glider start up the hill on the winch,
- training and learning to fly on the gliders.
In 2001 Piotr Bobula's action contributed to the opening a new place for glider flights in Weremień and then to creating a new airstrip in Żernica Wyżna.
The owner of the air Bobulandia offers two types of glider flights. The tourists can choose the flight at the height of 300 m or 1000 m above the take-off level. Of course, the pilot is aboard the glider. If the tourist wishes, the flight can be filmed. People who have already done such a flight described us extraordinary impression of the beautiful scenery of the Bieszczady Mountains from the bird's eye view.
